Founder

Benjamin Navi is the Founder and President of Jimena Companies, a fully integrated private real estate investment and development firm focused on acquiring and repositioning high-potential assets across New York, the Midwest, and Los Angeles. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Benjamin has executed over $750 million in transactions, building a reputation for disciplined underwriting, strategic vision, and value creation across market cycles. Under his leadership, Jimena Companies is driven by a singular mission: to elevate possibility in real estate — transforming overlooked assets into enduring, cash-flowing investments that strengthen communities and deliver institutional-quality results.

Benjamin is also the Founder of The Akin Group, a next-generation global retail and entertainment platform that reimagines physical retail as immersive, culturally relevant destinations. Launching in Detroit, Michigan, the brand aims to redefine experiential retail and catalyze urban revitalization in select gateway cities.

Beyond business, Benjamin is deeply committed to civic leadership. With more than 1,000 hours dedicated to nonprofit service, he founded the Enso Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on public-private partnerships, leadership development, and community advancement. His work bridges capital and community, aligning economic growth with long-term social impact.

Benjamin earned his BBA in Finance & Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
